Had a good sleep last night after I killed about 50 black flies that were able to get into the tent with me.
After a good breakfast at the restaurant, I hit the road around 8am. It was another cloudy, damp day with a head wind.
In addition it was cold all day. Had to keep my fleece on the whole day.
No mountains in this part of Ontario, but lots of hills. This is basically wilderness with lots of fishing and hunting lodges, resourts and fly in places.
The reason I stopped in Wabigoon is that the next camp site is about 100 km down the road. I'll save that for tomorrow.
Lots of encouragement from people in stores and waves from people in cars.
I don't know what this is but I'm glad I saw him here and not in my campsite
Arriving in Dryden. Still a cloudy day
Another moose in Dryden
The locals were celebrating Canada Day in Wabigoon.
It gave me the opportunity to join in and get a hamburger and hotdog.
Most people were busy with the kids races.
This is the reason I joined the crowd.
